The draft, not if but when

Given the history of the modern Democrat Party and particularly the progressive branch represented so purely by President Obama, I think that there is almost no question that we will soon be hearing rumblings from both the Administration and Congress about reinstating a draft. It is likely that this will be a new politically correct draft, i.e., not strictly military but some form of universal service.  The real purpose is to compel people into serving the goals of the state--which will be euphemistically referred to as the goals of society. Any bets on how long it will take?
