Jeff Taylor is a longtime contributor to Carolina Journal who moved back to North Carolina in 2003 after a lengthy stint as a journalist in the Washington, D.C. area. He currently writes the Reason Express newsletter and contributes to Reason magazine, based in Los Angeles. A former national political reporter for Investor’s Business Daily and “Evans & Novak,” Taylor began his journalism career as a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate with newspaper reporting jobs in South Carolina and at the Smithfield Herald.
