The U.S. Department of Labor has determined that North Carolina’s real unemployment rate averaged 16.2 percent for the period March 2012 through March 2013.

Unlike the traditional jobless rate that’s announced each month – which counts people without jobs and those actively looking for a job – U6 includes other categories as well. They are total unemployed, plus total employed part-time for economic reasons, plus all marginally attached workers.

Will employers add full-time workers as ObamaCare’s stifling regulations loom? Some will, many won’t.

And, of course, this is only the beginning of the problems ObamaCare will create.
