State revenues as a percentage of total public school revenues

The National Center for Education Statistics recently published The Condition of Education 2020, which is a compendium of education statistics and data collected and compiled by NCES researchers.

One of the more interesting data points is state revenues as a percentage of total public school revenues.  In the Southeast, no other legislature contributes a larger share of state revenue than North Carolina.  Most other states rely on local sources of revenue, particularly property taxes, to fund their schools.
