The Great Recovery has been underway maybe five years, since before the Great Recession never happened – and Macon County needs a new shelter for the homeless. And Jackson County needs a new shelter for the homeless.
“We started getting kind of an influx of homeless folks here in Macon County that were coming here to eat,” [charitable mover and shaker Lowell] Monteith said.
