Saith WLOS:

Survey crews are out on Interstate 26 for [perhaps] a [possibly] potential project that might [could potentially] include widening the highway, said Rick Tipton, the division construction engineer for the Department of Transportation.

“We’re still in the early stages of working that out of if it needs to be six lanes or what, so we’re still working through those issues,” said Tipton.

While the project would not begin construction until 2020, he says it’s part of the continual effort to make sure roads are meeting the needs of drivers.

That’s OK. Take your time. We all enjoy the 2:00 a.m. pedestrian commutes in 29oF weather. That’s why concerned motorists always ask if I need a ride. If I had a heart, I would ask if I may help them walk.
