Political consultant Dick Morris addressed 150 JLF supporters in Charlotte Tuesday, telling the crowd to expect Sen. Hillary Clinton to walk away with the 2008 Democratic nomination for president. Morris also said Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice may be the only Republican who could beat Clinton. While in town, Morris conducted interviews with the Charlotte Observer, WBT-TV, Keith Larson of WBT-AM, and News 14 Carolina. The event is part of JLF’s effort to have a higher profile and policy impact in Charlotte. The expansion effort was recently reported in the Charlotte Observer.
