I initially thought the N&R had scooped (with a little help from this letter to the editor) the High Point Enterprise on the uncertain fate of senior citizens after High Point University buys the government-funded Wesleyan Court apartments.
But a search of the Enterprise’s archives show they first reported the story six days ago. For some reason, though, HPU and the federal government didn’t jump until the story appeared in the N&R. Interesting.
