…Until the individual exchange markets established under Obamacare are scheduled to open for enrollment.
FYI – The House Committee on Government Oversight and Reform and the Committee on Ways and Means will hold a hearing tomorrow, July 31st, at 10:15 a.m.. The agenda will focus on the illegal and unauthorized extension of the federal health law’s premium subsidies distributed to individuals enrolled in federal health insurance exchanges. Distributing premium assistance subsidies, or tax credits, to individuals who purchase health plans through federally-facilitated exchanges contradicts the written text of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. By law, subsidies are limited to exchanges established by the state under section 1311 of the law.
If you would like to tune in, the Oversight Committee will most likely stream the hearing live.
