By harnessing data on the failure of convention centers nationwide, Michael Sanera and research intern Travis Fisher hope to convince government officials that visions of convention center utopia are unrealistic. The Regional Brief, which focuses on Asheville’s aging Civic Center and Wilmington’s proposed convention center, continues to make headway in the news since its release. Michael appeared on Wilmington’s “Big Talker” radio program, as well as News 14, Charlotte. Carrying the message even further along in Wilmington, and sharing airtime with JLF’s Lindalyn Kakadelis who was promoting educational choice, Chad Adams took to the airwaves with Warren Sprouse on “Last Call”.
