It’s hard to win an election when you endorse your opponent and campaign for him, but that didn’t stop Stan Morse from capturing 54 percent of the vote in his N.C. House District 40 Democratic primary against Sam Hart Brewer.
Morse moves on to face freshman Republican incumbent Marilyn Avila.
