OK, I think history is being made today in Edina, Minn. James Lileks, one of my favorite bloggers, has a personal blog site that is a great day-starter, but he also blogs at the Minneapolis Star-Tribune‘s site, buzz.mn.
Well, today they have him doing (get ready for this!) a LIVE BLOG REMOTE, just like radio guys do. Which in some ways makes sense because Lileks has a great radio voice (as you can hear from his Diner podcasts and his appearances on Hugh Hewitt’s show), but he works for a newspaper Web site, so you can’t actually hear him. Talk about media melding into one big hash.
Oh, as Lileks would do, here’s where the live remote is being held.
I can’t wait until they send him out on Thanksgiving to watch turkeys being thrown from a helicopter.
