Brilliant, pointed words from developer Omar Zinn of Zinn Design Build to Carrboro Mayor Mark Chilton, who according to this story, works for a real estate agency. The statement should have hit home with Chilton about why it is such bad policy to restrict Zinn’s right to conduct his business. What’s more, Zinn also pointed out the law of supply and demand, telling the Carrboro Board of Aldermen that a development moratorium will simply drive up the cost of housing. Bingo.
