Given all their travel to college and pro basketball games that had nothing to do with their employer, how did they have time to raise money for the university? If they did have enough time to do their jobs and still conduct all this unrelated travel, might that not suggest that the university could meet its fundraising objectives without devoting as much staffing to the task? Is this another sign of bloat within the university administration? Would the university fare better by shifting some of its budget to other priorities?
