The Elizabeth City Daily Advance has a sweet story today about the disfigured victim of a horrible crime. She was the daughter of a stepfather who decided to set his own house on fire some years ago to rid himself of dependents and collect insurance money. She was burned on 80 percent of her body. Her sister was killed.
She was on a recent ?where are they now?? episode of the Montel Williams Show, which is now slightly redeemed in my eyes.
