Camille Paglia understands Free Speech and excoriates the Democratic Party for flirting with a resurrection of the “Fairness” Doctrine. She rightly points out that liberals control the networks, academia, popular culture and now our public schools, and that conservative talk radio was a reaction to that. She calls it “juvenile” for Democrats to be talking about squelching the speech of its opposition.
All of North Carolina’s Democratic congressmen, flush with victory (Heath Shuler excepted) over passing the Generational Theft Act, should listen to her comments.
