Regarding today’s article Professor’s Web site draws attacks, in which is stated:

The site states that its content is protected under the First Amendment. But that hasn’t stopped criticism from conservative columnists Jon Sanders, a policy analyst at the Pope Center for Higher Education Policy, and Mike Adams, who writes for Townhall.com.

Nowhere in my article do I question Christensen’s rights. This paragraph implies (“But”) a contradiction that doesn’t exist. It is in no way contradictory for me, a free speech advocate, to question the content of others’ speech; in fact, in lieu of government action against speech, which I certainly do not support, content criticism becomes the chief vehicle for response. Why do reporters have such a hard time with that?
