In a win for personal responsibility, the NC Senate has voted overwhelmingly for the “Commonsense Consumption Act,” which would prevent people from suing food manufacturers or sellers because they claim that consumption of particular food products made them fat. A similar bill has already passed the house and will likely be signed by Gov. McCrory soon.
It made me think of a satirical article from The Onion several years ago…
