ABC News, which got scooped by CBS’ “60 Minutes” yesterday, has rushed to the rescue of the unnamed stripper accuser. They interviewed a cousin of the stripper/student/single mom who implied that CBS and the defense lawyers for the three accused Duke lacrosse players were conspiring to pressure the accuser to back off:
“I think a lot of this is intimidation,” the accuser’s cousin Jakki, who would not allow her last name to be used, said on Sunday night. “I think they want to her to break, to say, ‘Enough is enough.'”
Yet another shielded person makes allegations that can’t be corroborated. That’s journalism these days.
