The recent dragnet for strippers that local ABC honchos thought was such a great idea has gotten the once over from Fark.com.
Among the comments:
I’d like to visit strip clubs on taxpayer money. Sign me up.
They’d still be investigating if they hadn’t run short of dollar bills.
If they’re only managing to get one stripper’s pants off every ten days, they need to send cops that know how to ask.
Wouldn’t it be awesome if this money and time were spent removing the “before noon” restriction on buying beer on Sunday? Maybe something that would make the state a little money?
And really, who cares what happens in a stripclub between two consenting adults. Cops should be cracking down on violent crimes, not wasting everyone’s tax dollars on vices.
Me, I am convinced that this operation was hatched in response to all the bad pub Mecklenburg’s ABC operation received for partying down with liquor suppliers. The time line is just a little too suspicious.
