The latest video from Dan Mitchell of the Cato Institute focuses on six reasons for abolishing the capital gains tax.

Mitchell’s ideas stand in contrast to those of President Obama, who’s advocating an increase in the capital gains tax rate from 15 percent to 20 percent. (“This is in addition to the 3.8-percentage-point payroll tax imposed on capital gains (and other investment income) as part of his government-run health-care scheme,” Mitchell notes.)
