Doesn’t $400m. over 10 years seem a little light to you? That is only $40m. a year and really does not put a dent in plans for $2b. worth of additional trains.
What the $400m. number does just happen to be is the cost of final, completed North line, however. Once again we are back to the fact that the Uptown crowd is going to have to go ahead and blow up the MTC — and its Northern town veto on killing the North line — unless millions more drop from the sky or taxpayers wallets in order to fund and build the billion-dollar plus Northeast line all the way to UNCC.
