Adrienne Dunn is a research intern at both the John W. Pope Center for Higher Education Policy and the John Locke Foundation. She has previously worked at Richard B. Harrison Library, the North Carolina History Museum, and the Raleigh City Museum. Dunn is a fellow of the Ralph Bunche Center at UCLA.

She graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a B.A. in history in 2008 and received her master’s degree in history in 2010 from North Carolina Central University. Dunn will pursue a Ph.D. in history from Howard University in the fall of 2010.
