Anu Shankar joined the John Locke Foundation in February 2006 as a Financial Assistant to Finance Manager Page Cox. Anu moved from India to the United States in 1992 to join her husband who is a computer engineer with Cisco Systems in the Research Triangle Park. She earned her MBA from Meredith College and also took accounting courses at NC State University. She later specialized in human resources through a certificate program at Wake Technical Community College in 2004. She lives in Cary with her husband and two boys.
