Brent Woodcox is a local activist and advocate for market-oriented solutions to political challenges being faced by local government in Raleigh.

To that end, he has started two campaigns at the local level. One is Share Raleigh, a grassroots campaign focused on supporting short term rental freedom in the city, and the second is YIMBY Raleigh, a site dedicated to advocating for expanding affordable housing and opportunity in the city by leveraging both public and private sector actors and embracing zoning and land use deregulation.

In his day job, he serves as Senior Policy Counsel to North Carolina Senate President Pro Tem Phil Berger.
