Chris Mele is a retired Physical Education teacher and coach. With her late husband, Joel, they built two successful companies- Advance Sound Company and Pamlico Tower Leasing. She served four+ terms as a Pamlico County Commissioner.  She currently serves on several boards as well as playing the French horn, which she began at age 10.
