Gary Jason earned bachelor’s degrees in physics and philosophy at UCLA, an M.A. and Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Illinois, and an M.S. in computer science from Kansas State University. He has taught philosophy for over thirty years, currently at California State University, Fullerton, where he teaches logic, critical thinking, and business ethics. He is the author of several books: Critical Thinking: Developing an Effective Worldview; Introduction to Logic; The Logic of Discovery; and (most recently) Dangerous Throughts: Provocative Writings on Contemporary Issues. He is also the author of numerous academic articles and book reviews, trade articles and book reviews, op/eds, movie reviews, and other short opinion pieces.
