Jacob Emmons is a Communications Associate at the John Locke Foundation.  He supports the Communications Team in a variety of ways, including photography, social media, and video production.

Jacob has a passion for storytelling through both words and visuals. A native of Alamance County, NC, he brings a deep appreciation for community, creativity, and clear communication to his role.

Before joining the communications field, Jacob spent three years as a barista, where he developed a passion for coffee and a love for connecting with people.

An award-winning photographer, Jacob has received both state and national recognition for his visual eye for detail. He is proud to support the important journalism of Carolina Journal, helping elevate impactful stories that inform and inspire North Carolinians.

In his free time, Jacob enjoys spending time with his new wife, Kassidy, cheering for the Carolina Hurricanes, and drinking his daily cold brew coffee.
