In addition to owning her own business, Shira Hedgepeth taught in higher education for over 20 years as an adjunct professor. Since joining academia full time, she has served as a department chair, instructional technologist, director of academic technology, and director of distance learning. She obtained her master’s in education from Virginia Tech and a juris doctor from Concord Law School in Los Angeles, California.
