Steve has always loved the idea that anyone had the capability of being great at any Sport; all they had to do was outwork everyone else. This concept led him to Albion College where he was a 2-sport athlete and later fueled the fire to join the United States Marine Corps for eight years.

After leaving the Marine Corps in 2009, the next logical step for Steve was to get involved in the fitness industry. Training was something he had been passionate about since he was in middle school. In 2009 CrossFit Vitality was born out of his 300 square foot garage. Today, with over 500 members and 10 tenants at Vitality in Concord, there isn’t much downtime, but Steve loves what he does. When not at work, Steve enjoys life with wife Jess and daughters Reagan and Charlee.
