In September I posted the following:
ACORN has proved itself to be an ongoing criminal organization. It’s time we did something about it. RICO anyone?
So I’m heartened to see ACORN’s true image as a criminal enterprise taking hold. I noticed this today:
Although everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty, a RICO investigation is now warranted. There are already multiple state investigations of ACORN underway, and thirty ACORN workers have already pleaded guilty to committing crimes. Attorney General Eric Holder should immediately order a RICO investigation, while we all wait to see if more footage is forthcoming.
I won’t hold my breath hoping for Holder to do anything. He’s in the tank for radicals, judging from his political intervention into the New Black Panther Party investigation. But, as we’ve seen recently, there doesn’t need to be a major media outcry to get someone’s wings clipped. It happened to Van Jones and it happened to ACORN regarding its U.S. Census contract.
UPDATE: House to join Senate in defunding ACORN. Right on.
UPDATE: ACORN employee tells fake pimp and prostitute she killed her husband. It just keeps getting better.
