The more I think about it the more I am insulted and angered at Bush’s addicted to oil harangue during his state of the union sermon. If I and other Americans are addicted to oil it is because we are addicted to all the great things that we get from it. We are addicted to warm houses in the winter; we are addicted to getting to and from work, the grocery store, and to going to our kids sporting and school events. We are addicted to going to the beach and having emergency services arrive quickly when we are in need. That line more than any he has delivered since he has taken office, reminded me that he is indeed his father’s son.
God bless the oil companies and all of the conveniences that they make possible in our lives.
