Americans for Prosperity North Carolina is drawing attention to Tracy Walsh, a 44-year-old South Carolina mom who underwent a double mastectomy after learning she had breast cancer. Walsh could have chosen another surgery but wanted to avoid the risk of the cancer recurring.
In a media briefing this morning, Walsh explained why she has agreed to tell her story in a new AFP ad criticizing the Obama administration’s preferred health-care ideas.
