Despite easy, on-demand access to a free COVID-19 vaccination, a big swath of U.S. adults still consider it risky business to attend a 4th of July celebration. Check out the data graphic below from Axios.
And yes, there’s a political divide as detailed below. I’ve come to believe that one’s view of the pandemic and the lockdowns is an outgrowth of one’s view about the role that government should – or shouldn’t – play in our lives.
If you plan to get out and enjoy things this weekend, now you’ll know the likely political makeup of the folks who are enjoying things with you – and of the folks who are sitting on the couch at home.
