Jackson County economic developers didn’t have enough to woo another big company, so now they want to turn the big box into an agricultural center with economic development tools like an exhibit area, classrooms, and a community garden. A livestock holding facility may also be created.

It reminds me of the meditation space in the Sherrill Center at UNCA, the Orange Peel, or any of these karate gyms. It’s like nobody can afford to buy furniture, let alone manufacturing equipment, anymore.
