John Edwards’ law partner David Kirby says he won’t run against Elizabeth Dole for the Senate, although she’s “emminently defeatable.” Kirby cited his “commitment to helping Edwards win the Democratic nomination for president” as his reason.
Fair enough, I guess. Kirby could end up running against Dole anyway, considering the fact that some believe Edwards will be out of the race by the end of the year.
