Rep. Verla Insko (D-Chapel Hill) made the following comment to the Raleigh News & Observer on today’s front page, regarding her bill to limit the types and amounts of junk food available in school vending machines:

“If we only do one thing right, we ought to make sure our children grow up healthy and well- educated,” said Rep. Verla Insko, a Chapel Hill Democrat and former health professional, who is sponsoring the measure in the state House.
