Saith the local daily:
Buncombe County commissioners approved a $122 million bond package Tuesday that included money for the controversial expansion at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
So controversial was the issue, the commissioners had to schedule their vote on the funding to coincide with a regularly-scheduled meeting of Asheville City Council. That is, we have freedom of whatever press is big enough to cover simultaneous meetings.
