The evidence is first seen in schools, says USA Today, where Hispanic enrollment is in the 60 percent range in some schools in Oklahoma. The exodus is proof that these are not legal Hispanic immigrants.
At some point, like maybe in Durham, where Hispanic enrollment has passed 50 percent in some schools, it will dawn on voters that they are being asked to approve huge school bond issues to make up for the millions that are being spent on illegal immigrants. When that connection is made, the receptivity of many to rote passage of school bond issues may wane.
