At some point, like maybe in Durham, where Hispanic enrollment has passed 50 percent in some schools, it will dawn on voters that they are being asked to approve huge school bond issues to make up for the millions that are being spent on illegal immigrants. When that connection is made, the receptivity of many to rote passage of school bond issues may wane.
