James Robbins gives readers a laugh-out-loud today on National
Review Online about last Saturday’s attack on Abu Gharib prison by
‘Iraqi’ insurgents. The media is portraying the attack as a lethal
turn-around in the insurgency: offensive guerilla warfare. But Robbins
sizes it up a bit differently:

The
overall enemy casualty rate including wounded was probably over 50
percent. No prisoners were freed.  Al Qaeda claimed the raid was a
success, but a few more victories like this and their insurgency will
be over.

Read the whole thing for a side-splitting good time at the expense of al-Zarqawi.
