Let’s give it up for a Panthers’ lineman who’s not earning the big bucks he’s making this year. I’m talking about a guy that went to the Pro Bowl last year and wears a “C” on his jersey as a team captain.
That’s right, take a bow, Jordan Gross. No offensive lineman has allowed more sacks than you have. Seven in eight games. And allowed them fast too, so you can’t claim Jake is getting happy feet back there. Very impressive indeed.
Update: Never fails. Point out a guy’s not having a good season, and less than an hour later, he gets hurt. Broken ankle; season over for Gross. Not good certainly, given the lack of depth on OL for the Panthers.
