With limited additional comments – just a word or two about transparency from Minority Leader Skip Stam R – Wake, the House has the final and 3rd Reading vote on their version of the budget – passes 64 – 53.
The budget now goes back over to the Senate where it is expected they will not agree with the House version of the budget. A conference committee, compiled of those voting for their respective budgets, will be appointed to hammer out the differences in the Senate and House versions and try to have an argreement before the end of the fiscal year, on June 30.
