Perhaps the arrogance of the New York Times’ editorial leaders is best exemplified by their treatment of Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera. After reporting that he nudged aside a rescue worker to show his own heroics, Fox proved that no such incident occurred.
Retraction? Apology? No, instead Rivera got the Dan Rather/CBS News-type treatment from the Times.
