The annexation moratorium bill got amended in the J-2
Committee. The moratorium on forced annexation would now last
until April 30, 2009 as opposed to June 30, 2009.
Anyway, it did pass though. Now it has to pass the whole House and then pass the Senate. I’m not holding my breath.
Apparently, exempting big cities, like Blue wanted, didn’t fly.
