The John Locke Foundation’s 19th anniversary dinner drew more than just an overflow crowd this week. The featured speaker, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, attracted a swarm of media attention. Before Jindal’s trip to Raleigh, media outlets such as The News & Observer, Associated Press, New Orleans Times-Picayune, and Baton Rouge Advocate promoted the event. AP and the N&O covered the speech, as did television stations WRAL, WNCN (NBC 17), WGHP, and News 14 Carolina, along with WPTF Radio.
