The Cohort Graduation Rate scheduled to be presented at Thursdays State Board of Education meeting has been moved to the Board’s December agenda. The statewide rate (students graduating in four years) will likely fall between 65 and 70 percent. The rates for individual counties and student groups will be very bad news for public education in North Carolina.

This is the second major reporting delay – last year’s math test scores will not be released until November.
