Over the past year or so, airlines have been cutting flights and instituting fees that push the cost of flying higher. That’s created grumbling among the public about flying becoming more of a hassle than it’s worth. The good news is it appears at least one airline is ramping up customer service. Remember Delta’s Red Coats? They’re back. It’s a good example of how customer likes, dislikes, and demands — in other words, market forces — lead to product/service improvements. And by the way, no government intervention was required to get the Red Coats back.
