Greensboro’s Maureen Parker writes she’s been thinking “a lot about Gandhi lately with regard to health care reform because universal health care is a way of leveling the playing field. When so many of our country’s people are denied health care due to lack of money, we’ve gone astray.”
Even with that in mind, Parker says she hates “being drawn into the health care debate because global warming is a far more serious matter. If the planet cooks, everything goes.”
