Remember when all those Democratic congresspersons were ridiculing Tea Partiers who were criticizing them for not reading the Obamacare legislation? Maybe they should have:

“Section 6001 of the health care law effectively bans new physician-owned hospitals (POHs) from starting up, and it keeps existing ones from expanding.” Politico adds, “Friday [New Year’s Eve] marked the last day physician-owned hospitals could get Medicare certification covering their new or expanded hospitals, one of the latest provisions of the reform law to go into effect.”

How is improved health care facilitated by prohibiting places you can go to get health care? Clearly, some backers of Obamacare knew about this (and the many other) heinous provisions. After all, that’s why they were put in there. But the next time you see your congressperson who voted for Obamacare and didn’t read the bill, let them know how irresponsible you find them. That is, unless you’ve already voted them out.

Here’s something you can count on: This isn’t the last terrible Obamacare provision you will learn about.
