The city of Charlotte does not need to buy up groceries in Belmont. Now or ever. Glad Pat McCrory realizes that, although his call to target “other neighborhoods” is worrying.
Much better was councilman Warren Turner’s concern about setting a precedent with this sort of action by the city.
